8th week

For this week, the task was more in designing activity. Each group has 4 group members and each of us has to pick one out of 4 skills that are listening skill, speaking skill, reading skill and writing skill. My group topic was festival and I choose writing skill as the skill that I wanted to teach the students. We also were given a text that we had to read and we had to summarize the information. Basically the text is about ‘Teacher being realistic, Teaching with course book, Teaching without course book’. Our group got the ‘Teaching without course book task’. This task should be present for next week class. So we give each person a task to do so that the work becomes smooth. For this task I and two of my friends have to present this task for the next week class. I still searching the video that my group will use in the next assignment. So my journey will be continuing…………….

8th week

After the holiday(week 7)

During this week, Mdm Foziah taught us to used flickr.com and showed us the presentation of her previous students entitled “My Family’ and also ‘The Animal’. The presentation is suitable with the level of the students because it used simple words that suite the learner proficiency level and also the sentence structure was being repeated so that the learner will find it easy remember it. For the the animal presentation it is quit good because it integrated songs in the presentation.For this week task, we have to do e-book to be used to teach the learner in primary school. In doing the e-book we have to take consideration of many things such whether the language is appropriate, the content of the lesson and also the learner proficiency. For enabling we to do the task we have to check the Curriculum Specification(CS). Besides that we also have to download Michael Jackson’s song and we have extract the song to become picture, video and audio so that we can use it as teaching aids to teach the learners. I hope that I can make it to the dateline.

Besides the video can we used the students themselves as one of the resource in teaching?

P/S: I also discovered one websites that is www.filehippo.com from my friend Suhaili and Husna where we can download any software such as antivirus, downloader and a lot of stuff. Please feel free to goggle to that websites.

A.U.D.I.O E.D.I.T.I.N.G(6th week)

I forgot to do blog for audio editing task. During that week Mdm Foziah gave two sets of sounds and asked us to recognize the different two sounds. the first sound there was music and also one people speaks in the language that I did not understand while the second sound is only the music without the sound. So for this week task I combine two music that are my girl from the temptation group and what a girl want from Christina Aquilerra. I found out I actually can do many things using the audio editing. hehe
I changed the song into what my girl wants.

Reflection Week 5

For this week we get video editing task. Madam Foziah showed us the cohort 1 previous work. It was quite interesting what cohort 1 have done with their video editing skill. So for this week assignment we have to edit “So You Think You Can Dance Season 2” video. In this assignment, we were test with downloading skills, converting skills and also video editing skills”. It really makes us used previous skills that we already learned. We really put all our effort to finish the work. So I hope that our work is in quality ones. Thus, there was one assignment that involves us to do pair work. In this assignment we had to do video clip. In this making of video clip, I travelled to Alor Star to Huda’s house to meet with Madam Zaiton. She is the one that make ‘Kuih Karas’. I think that this video editing is quite interesting. I learned many things in producing the video. Thus, I also have difficulty when trying to uploading the video. I tried for two days and the time to upload the video was about 1 hour. Can you imagine? I really stress out but at last I was relief after my video is already in the Youtube.

P.h.o.t.o E.d.i.t.i.n.g

"A picture can describe thousand words". But what happened when we can edit the picture and make it desribe picture more than that. During the class that day, we being viewed with pictures that already edited. Some of the picture are hilliourous and really attract my attention(seriously). The picture of "Hanakimi" characters being changed into Mr and Mrs Smith's body postures really (the head of the characters is theirs but the body belongs to Brat Pitt and Agelina Jolie)makes me smile. Today, I really realized that technology that I actually never know before. For the task we were aksed to edit one picture and uploaded it in the p.h.o.t.o b.u.c.k.e.t. I just knew the existance of the web(very poor in websites' name). I think that I really had to do my best to do the photo bucket. Neverthles being the A.m.a.t.e.ur in technology field does not make me give up but makes me more confident to take the risk. I rest my case here. See you next time

the assignment

our group choose the 'invention' title for year 5 text book. actually i do not have the text book. i also didn't found it in the library. so we only download the video using youtube that related in making something for eg,.in making mask. seriously i have trouble in searching for info. maybe i should find the text book first. happy searching
